The recovery key is your 12-character wallet password. You use it to sign in on the website from another device, reset your PIN and recover access to the wallet.
Where to view the key
- Open Profile → Security.
- If no email is linked, add one under Recovery email and confirm it with the emailed code: the key can't be shown without a verified email.
- Tap Recovery Key and enter the code from the email.
How to replace the key
In Security, tap Replace Recovery Key and confirm with the emailed code. The app issues a new key and the old one stops working. Save the new key right away.
Anyone who has the key can withdraw money from the wallet. Never send it to anyone, not even support.
After the wallet's security changes — the email, PIN or key — withdrawals are paused for 1 hour in case it wasn't you.
