Dolix Terms of Use
Dolix (formerly RiskScan) is an ecosystem of tools for assessing and reducing risks in crypto operations inside Telegram: a bot with verification tools (AMLSCAN, PDFSCAN, counterparty check) and the Dolix Wallet mini app (custodial wallet, exchange and P2P deals). The service is provided by the Dolix Administration (hereinafter also the "service"). These Terms of Use (user agreement) are a single document covering the bot, the mini app, the API and the dolix.io website. By using any part of the service you accept these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use the service.
1Acceptance and User Requirements
The service is for persons aged 18 or older with legal capacity. You confirm that: your funds are of lawful origin; you use a single account and act on your own behalf; you are not located in a jurisdiction where the use of such services is prohibited and are not included in the sanctions lists of the UN or other applicable international sanctions programs (including the lists of the US (OFAC), the EU and the UK). You are solely responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction, including tax obligations.
2Scope of the Service
The Dolix ecosystem includes the tools listed below. The set of features, coins and networks may change; certain features may be unavailable in your region or require verification.
2.1 AMLSCAN — Address and TXID Screening
Risk assessment of cryptocurrency addresses and transactions based on blockchain-analytics data: exposure to sanctions lists, darknet markets, mixers, hacks and other risk categories. The result is a risk score and source-of-funds categories.
2.2 PDFSCAN — PDF Document Check
Technical analysis of PDF files (receipts, payment confirmations) for signs of editing or generation: metadata, file structure, fonts, matching against known fakes.
2.3 Counterparty Check
Search across complaint databases and P2P arbitration blacklists: reported fraud cases and linked contacts and payment details. Records are aggregated from public sources (P2P arbitration channels of third-party platforms) and user reports after moderation, and reflect the claimants' allegations, not facts established by the service. The service does not guarantee their accuracy, currency or completeness and is not responsible for the content of complaints; individual records may be hidden from search results. A person who considers a record erroneous may contact support with substantiation; the service may (but is not obliged to) correct or delete the record following a review.
2.4 Dolix Wallet — Custodial Wallet
Balances are held under the service's control; user funds may be held at the service's pooled (omnibus) addresses. Balances are not a bank deposit, are not insured by any governmental or private insurance scheme, and bear no interest. Supported networks: TRON (TRC20), BSC (BEP20), TON and Ethereum (ERC20); tokens of these networks (including USDT). Native BTC, DOGE and XRP are not supported; these assets are available only as BSC (BEP20) tokens: BTCB, DOGE, XRP. ETH is available on the Ethereum network (ERC20) and as a BSC (BEP20) token.
2.5 Exchange
Exchange of crypto to fiat and back at the rate locked when the deal is created. See Section 7.
2.6 P2P Marketplace
Tools for deals between users (including, where available, cash deals): ads, limits, payment details, deal statuses; the bot also offers a risk-scored selection of P2P ads ("Clean Ads"). See Section 8.
2.7 Virtual Cards
Prepaid cards for online payments are issued by a third-party issuer; Dolix acts as an intermediary. Cards are governed by the separate "Card Terms of Use" shown at issuance.
2.8 Subscriptions, Check Packages and API
Advanced checks are available via subscription, one-off packages and API access with prepaid limits (for free public checks, see clause 2.10). Payment and refund rules are set out in Section 10.
2.9 Referral Program
Rewards for invited users are credited under the rules published in the bot. Fake activity, self-invites and other abuse are prohibited — the service may cancel such accruals.
2.10 The dolix.io Website
The service's public pages and free public checks with a daily limit. Section 3 (informational nature) applies to the results of such checks. The service may change the limits, scope and conditions of free checks.
3Informational Nature of Checks
The results of AMLSCAN, PDFSCAN and counterparty checks, as well as any other risk assessments, scores, labels and selections of the service (including "Clean Ads" and P2P ad ratings), are informational and probabilistic: they are based on available third-party data and algorithmic models and may contain errors or outdated or incomplete information. Results are not a legal opinion, evidence, or financial or investment advice, and do not guarantee that any address, transaction, document or person is "clean" or "dangerous". Decisions based on the results are yours alone and at your own risk. Presenting the service's reports as official conclusions, or using them as the sole basis for public accusations, is prohibited.
4Account and Security
Access to the bot, the mini app and the API is tied to your Telegram account; public checks on the website are available without an account, and the account provisions do not apply to them. You are responsible for the safety of your device, Telegram account, PIN and recovery key. Operations performed through your account are deemed performed by you. If you lose access to your Telegram account or recovery keys, the service may be unable to restore access to funds.
5KYC and AML
The service applies verification procedures aligned with international anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing standards (including the FATF Recommendations), as well as the sanctions lists of the UN and other applicable international sanctions programs (including the lists of the US (OFAC), the EU and the UK). The service may request documents (passport/ID), a photo (selfie) and source-of-funds information, and screens addresses and transactions (AML) on deposits and withdrawals. On suspicion or sanctions exposure the service may reject, restrict, suspend or freeze an operation or account. Measures may remain in force until the review is complete; the service may withhold reasons where disclosure is restricted by applicable requirements. Frozen or rejected funds may be returned to source, held pending clarification, or handed over under lawful requests from competent authorities. The service is not liable for losses, including rate changes, arising from the good-faith application of AML measures.
6Wallet (Dolix Wallet), Deposits and Withdrawals
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. You are responsible for the correctness of the destination address, network and, where applicable, tags/memos; sending to a wrong address or network is generally unrecoverable. Deposits below minimum amounts may not be credited. Crediting and withdrawal times depend on network congestion and screening procedures. The service's fees and on-chain network fees are borne by the user. Fees and limits are, as a rule, shown before you confirm an operation; in the event of an obvious technical display error, the service's current tariffs apply, and an operation performed on manifestly erroneous terms may be cancelled with the return of what was received from the user.
The service may correct technical accounting errors: debit erroneously credited amounts from the balance, adjust balance records, and withhold (set off) from the balance amounts due to the service — fees, indebtedness, negative balance, chargeback amounts. If the balance is insufficient, the user must reimburse the difference upon the service's demand. Claims regarding a specific operation are accepted within 30 days of the operation date; after that period the operation is deemed confirmed by the user, unless mandatory rules of applicable law provide otherwise.
7Exchange and Rates
Before confirmation the rate is indicative. The rate is locked when a deal is created and remains valid for a limited time shown in the deal interface; if the deal is not completed within the allotted time, it automatically expires and is cancelled. After confirmation the deal is processed on the agreed terms and is final for the user; unilateral cancellation by the user is not possible. The service may cancel or adjust a deal executed at a manifestly erroneous rate (technical failure, quote-source error, obvious deviation from the market price), or suspend its execution on the grounds set out in Section 5 — with the return of what was received from the user. Dolix is not a bank, broker or investment adviser and does not provide investment recommendations.
8P2P Deals
In P2P deals Dolix is not a party to the deal and provides the platform tools. You are responsible for choosing the counterparty, the payment details, performance and taxes. For the duration of a deal the seller's crypto asset is locked by the service (escrow) and is released upon completion of the deal, its cancellation or a decision on an appeal; if the deal is cancelled, the escrow is returned to the seller. The service may require security (collateral) from makers and merchants. Fiat settlements are made directly between the parties: the service does not hold fiat funds for P2P settlements and does not control them.
For a disputed deal the parties may file an appeal; the decision on the distribution of the crypto assets locked in the deal is made by the service's arbitrator and is final within the platform. Such a decision concerns only the escrow and is not a judicial act or a legal opinion. In all other respects the service does not guarantee the performance, good faith or solvency of a counterparty and is not responsible for the fiat leg of the settlement or for a counterparty's actions outside the platform — fraud, refusal to pay, chargebacks; such claims are brought against the parties to the deal. Cash deals are at your own risk: assess the meeting place and safety yourself. The check tools (Section 3) are auxiliary and do not replace your own diligence.
9Virtual Cards
Cards are issued and serviced by a third-party issuer; Dolix accepts payment from your wallet balance, forwards the order to the issuer and displays card data. Dolix is not the card issuer, a bank or a payment system and is not responsible for the issuer's decisions. Detailed rules are in the separate "Card Terms of Use".
10Payments, Subscriptions and API Access
Prices of subscriptions, check packages and API plans are shown before payment. Payment is made from the wallet balance or by other available means and is charged in advance. A subscription runs for 30 days; auto-renewal and automatic charges are not applied — renewal is performed manually, and with an active subscription the paid term is added on. The monthly API token limit expires at the end of the calendar month; purchased token packages do not expire. If a check is not performed through the service's fault, the debited tokens or credits are refunded (as a rule, automatically). Unused limits and subscriptions for a past period are non-refundable, except where the service was not provided due solely to the service's fault; in that case the refund is limited to the cost of the unprovided part and is made by restoring the debited limits (tokens) or by crediting the wallet balance — refunds by other means are not made. Unavailability of the service due to the circumstances described in Section 14 or through the fault of third parties is not a ground for a refund.
Your API key is personal: you are responsible for keeping it safe and for all requests made with it. The service may limit request rates and usage volumes to protect its infrastructure, and may suspend or revoke API keys and API access in the event of violations, security risks or technical necessity. Automated access is allowed only through the official API. Additional payment rules for specific services may be set by the "Paid Services and Subscriptions Terms" and other special terms published in the bot and the app before payment; to the relevant extent such special terms prevail over these Terms.
11Prohibited Use and User Liability
The following are prohibited: money laundering and terrorism financing; fraud and phishing; use of funds of unlawful origin; sanctions evasion; deals on behalf of third parties and using others' accounts; creating multiple accounts and abusing the referral program; automation outside the official API, scraping and interference with the service; using check results for harassment, blackmail or defamation. On violation the service may block or freeze the account, cancel accruals and notify competent authorities.
By submitting complaints, documents (including PDF files) and other materials to the service, you warrant your right to transfer them and the accuracy of the information provided, and grant the service a perpetual, royalty-free right to use them for the operation and improvement of its verification databases and models. Liability for knowingly false complaints rests with the claimant.
You agree to indemnify the service and its affiliates for losses and expenses (including reasonable legal costs), as well as amounts under third-party claims and lawsuits, arising from: your breach of the Terms or applicable law; content you have submitted (complaints, documents); your use of the service and its results, including public accusations based on them.
12Risks
Cryptocurrencies are volatile — loss up to the full value is possible. Blockchain transactions are irreversible (Section 6). Regulatory, technical and third-party risks exist (blockchain networks, Telegram, token and card issuers, data providers). The legal status of crypto assets differs across jurisdictions and may change. Profit is not guaranteed.
13Intellectual Property
The software, interfaces, scoring algorithms, databases and reports of the service are protected by the rights of Dolix and its licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as intended. Copying, reselling data or reports, and building derivative services without written consent are prohibited.
14Force Majeure
The service is not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control: blockchain network failures or congestion, node and RPC unavailability, actions or outages of Telegram, providers, exchanges, issuers and other third parties, cyberattacks (including DDoS), smart-contract and protocol exploits, unauthorized third-party access, sanctions and payment restrictions, changes in law, acts of state authorities, hostilities and civil unrest, accidents, communications and power outages.
15Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, accuracy of check results, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is not liable for indirect damages and lost profit, actions of the blockchain, networks and third parties, force majeure or user errors, or for losses from unauthorized third-party actions and attacks on blockchain infrastructure. The service is not liable for loss of access due to a lost PIN or recovery key, for forks, depegs, devaluation or discontinued support of networks and assets, or for freezes at the level of token issuers or networks. The service's aggregate liability to you on any grounds is limited to the fees you actually paid in the preceding 12 months, and for a specific operation — to the fee for that operation. The service is not liable for the market value of crypto assets or changes in it. The limitations in this Section do not apply to the extent that liability cannot be limited under mandatory rules of applicable law (including in cases of wilful misconduct), and apply to the maximum extent permitted by such rules.
16Suspension and Termination
The service may suspend, block or close an account upon violation of these Terms, at the requirement of applicable law, or upon technical necessity. The service may also discontinue support for individual features, assets, networks or the service as a whole, or terminate the agreement at its own discretion, giving at least 30 days' notice and providing an opportunity to withdraw funds (after any reviews are complete and with the withholding of amounts due to the service). You may stop using the service at any time by withdrawing your funds (after any pending reviews are complete), subject to minimum withdrawal amounts and fees; balances below the minimum withdrawal amount may be unavailable for withdrawal.
17Changes to the Terms
These Terms may change; material changes are announced by the service in the app, the bot or on the dolix.io website with the edition date. Notice is deemed given from the moment the new edition is published. Changes do not apply to operations completed before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means agreement; if you disagree, stop using the service.
18Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by generally recognized principles of international commercial law; mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain in force where applicable. Before going to court, a claim must be submitted to support; the service aims to respond within 30 days. Court proceedings may be initiated no earlier than 30 days after the claim is submitted. Failing agreement, the dispute is referred to the competent court at the defendant's location, unless mandatory rules of the consumer's country of residence provide otherwise.
19Final Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the rest stay in effect; the service's failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the separate terms of features and paid services (e.g. the "Card Terms of Use" and the "Paid Services and Subscriptions Terms" — once published), constitute the entire agreement between you and the Dolix Administration. In case of conflict, special terms prevail over these Terms to the relevant extent. Sections 3, 11 (as regards indemnification), 13, 14, 15 and 18 survive the termination of use of the service or the closure of the account. The service may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate or successor upon notice to the user; the user may not assign their rights under the agreement without the service's written consent. In case of conflict between language versions, the Russian version prevails. The current edition is published in the app, the bot and on the dolix.io website.
